Identifying and Supporting Learners with Hidden Needs
Before implementing Cognassist, Train Together struggled to consistently identify and support neurodiverse learners. Learners requiring reasonable adjustments or additional help often went unnoticed, creating barriers to their success. Since launch, Cognassist has enabled Train Together to identify learners requiring additional support from day one, leading to timely interventions and personalised learning experiences. Insights from the platform have informed the creation of a structured Reasonable Adjustment Policy and Matrix. Tutors are now better equipped, learners feel more supported, and overall outcomes—including completions, engagement, and satisfaction—have improved markedly.
