This past year has been all about progress—with our customers at the heart of every decision. Whether it’s building smarter AI, enabling broader access, or launching new ways to connect, we’re proud of the strides we’ve made and even more excited about what’s coming next. Thank you for being part of the journey. Here’s to another year of innovation, and impact

Chris Quickfall, Cognasssist CEO

Introduction

While studying at university Chris was diagnosed with dyslexia.

The experience of completing a cognitive assessment was genuinely transformative for Chris. It gave him a framework to understand how he thinks and learns as an individual.

With a new understanding of his cognition, Chris built a variety of strategies to use in the working world that have helped him reach the highest levels of success. Everyone deserves the opportunity to understand this vital part of who they are and work in an environment that helps them to thrive at every level of education and work.

And from that idea, Cognassist was born.

Cognassist and B Corp

In 2023, Cognassist completed the B Corp Impact assessment for the first time, receiving certification and achieving an Impact score of 108.3.

The decision to pursue B Corp certification was driven by its rigorous ethical standards and the opportunity to join a community of exceptional brands and like-minded businesses. By committing to B Corp, we are committed to ensuring that our sustainable practices not only endure, but the standards are embedded in all that we do and serve as a benchmark of excellence for us to continuously strive for.

As B Corp continues to evolve so does our relationship with the movement. The changing standards offer us access to the highest guiding practices. As we look towards our 2026 recertification. We do so with pride, knowing that as our certification is testament to our commitment to be a force for good and stand side by side with B Corps as the change we want to see in the world.

A Year of Progress: How We’ve Evolved to Better Support Our Customers.

Over the past 12 months, we’ve been laser-focused on one thing – delivering meaningful improvements that make our platform more intuitive, intelligent, and impactful for the people who use it every day. From integrating cutting-edge AI to building better ways to connect and support each other, here’s a look at what we’ve been working on—and why it matters.

Smarter Cognitive Results, Made Clearer

We’ve reimagined how cognitive results are presented, making them easier to understand, interpret, and act on. This upgrade empowers users with more clarity and confidence in their results, helping them take meaningful next steps in their work and well-being journeys.

Personalised Strategy Through AI

One of our proudest achievements this year is the rollout of AI-powered contextual strategy recommendations. These capabilities tailor strategies to each user’s role and specific tasks—whether you’re designing databases, conducting code reviews, or leading a team.

This is more than just a technical upgrade. It’s a shift in how support is delivered: democratising access to insights that would typically require a consultation with an occupational health psychologist—making it more accessible, scalable, and cost-effective for everyone.

Universal Access to Support

We believe well-being support shouldn’t be a luxury. This year, we’ve doubled down on creating tools that provide universal access to workplace support—no matter your role, team, or background. Think of it as personalised guidance that’s always available, no appointment needed.

Teams Integration

With our new Microsoft Teams integration, we’ve made it easier than ever for users to access tools and insights directly within the flow of their work. This seamless experience means you don’t have to switch platforms to benefit from what we offer.

Well-being Surveys That Start Conversations

We introduced well-being surveys that are simple, thoughtful, and designed to spark real change. These tools not only provide useful insights at an individual and organisational level, but also open the door to meaningful discussions about mental health, performance, and workplace culture.

A Year of Governance: Structures for excellence.

Governance is something we take seriously—and something we’re genuinely proud of. It underpins everything we do, ensuring that we operate with transparency, accountability, and integrity. From ethical decision-making to clear policies and oversight, strong governance helps us stay true to our values while building trust with our customers, employees, and partners.

For us, it’s not just about compliance—it’s about doing things the right way, every step of the way.

Compliance with the new BCorp Standards

In addition, we hold annual B Corp Governance audits against the existing standards and new B Corp standards. We have further committed to B Corp by making the legal change within our Articles of Association.

Gresham House Ventures

Our investor, Gresham House Ventures, places the utmost importance on Governance as a key factor for its portfolio companies. In alignment with their assessment and improvement framework we are committed to reporting against these standards and upholding the highest standards of ESG across all areas of Cognassist. In 2025 we completed our annual ESG review and in partnership set further targets for 2026.

A Year of Impact: Engagement, flexibility and equality.

At Cognassist, we believe that when people thrive, businesses do too. That’s why we’re committed to supporting every aspect of our employees’ well-being—financial, physical, professional, and social. We provide enhanced benefits and the latest tools to creating environments where individuals feel supported and empowered, we focus on helping our teams do their best work.

Flexible Working as Standard

At Cognassist, flexibility for all is at the heart of our culture, flexible remote working is standard and available to all employees. We have reviewed and implemented a new flexible working policy to enhance access and comprehension.

Enhanced Benefits

We are proud to offer enhanced benefits that are available company-wide for all our employees including enhanced leave, well-being and volunteer paid leave. Through Westfield Health we offer private healthcare and dental including free cover for dependants. We work with Sanctus Coaching to provide additional external and support through qualified coaching access for all employees.

Investing in People

We continuously strive to invest in our people and their development with over 10% of our employees’ receiving promotions in 2024. We’re also hiring and engaging our in-house talent for our future with new roles created in Product design and research and AI.

Engagement and Equality

Our engagement and ED&I survey now include disaggregated data on gender and neurodiversity, enabling us to better understand the impact of our policies and culture, to support us to take action and create the most nurturing workplaces for all of our employees.

Cognitive Insights

And because we believe in the power of our product all of employees are given free access to our Cognitive Debrief, AI Coaching and Task strategies.

Disability Confident Employer

We are proud to have received certification as a Disability Confident Employer. We have created a reasonable adjustments passport to support everyone to get access to should their support needs and all employees have access to our Neuro-inclusion Champions and internal Mental Health first aiders.

A Year of Impact: Using our Skills to impact our communities.

In 2024 and 2025, we’ve focused on using community engagement as a meaningful way to live our values and create real impact.

By combining our expertise with a spirit of innovation, we’ve actively sought out opportunities to give back, support local initiatives, and contribute to causes that matter. These efforts have not only allowed us to make a difference, but also to grow as a team and as a business, staying connected to the communities we’re part of.

For us, giving back isn’t an add-on—it’s part of how we work, grow, and create long-term, purpose-driven impact.

Launching Community for Shared Growth

One of the most exciting developments: the launch of our community space. This is where users, practitioners, and leaders can connect, share insights, and learn from one another. It’s all about building a network of support where growth is collective.

Volunteering Days in Education

This year, we took our expertise in cognition beyond the workplace and into the community through grassroots volunteering.

During a special initiative in Neurodiversity Week, we partnered with a local school to run engaging workshops for children aged 3–5. These sessions introduced young learners to the idea that everyone thinks and learns differently—and that’s something to value and respect.

Our goal was simple: to spark early understanding and encourage empathy in a fun, age-appropriate way.

By sharing our knowledge at the local level, we’re proud to be fostering a more inclusive mindset from the ground up—one workshop, one conversation, one young mind at a time.

Supporting Education through Routes to Reading

In 2024, our founder Chris Quickfall sponsored the Routes to Reading initiative at his former school, supporting local students as they prepare to transition into the next stage of their education.

The initiative provided gifted books to pupil, encouraging reading and supporting learning beyond the classroom. Chris visited the school to meet some of the students involved and see the impact of the program firsthand.

We’re proud to support practical, local initiatives that promote education and opportunity.

A Year of Progress: How we’ve strengthened our commitment to environmental Sustainability.

In 2024 our focus has been on Strengthening Our Environmental commitment

While our remote operations and zero material waste position us as a low-impact organisation, we believe that environmental responsibility is an ongoing journey, not a destination. In 2024 and into 2025, we’ve taken meaningful steps to deepen our environmental stewardship, seeking new ways to measure, report, and improve across all areas of our operations.

Sustainability Travel Tracker

One of our key sustainability milestones this year was the launch of our Sustainability Travel Tracker. A tool designed to monitor emissions from business travel and ensure alignment with our environmental policies.

In 2024 we surpassed our emissions reduction target by cutting travel-related emissions by 35%.

This tool has become an essential part of how we hold ourselves accountable and continuously improve the way we work—balancing business needs with our commitment to responsible, low-impact operations.

Enhanced Environmental Procurement

One of our key sustainability milestones this year was the launch of our Sustainability Travel Tracker. A tool designed to monitor emissions from business travel and ensure alignment with our environmental policies.

In 2024, 89% of all business journeys were classified as sustainable, and we surpassed our emissions reduction target by cutting travel-related emissions by 35%.

This tool has become an essential part of how we hold ourselves accountable and continuously improve the way we work—balancing business needs with our commitment to responsible, low-impact operations.

Environmental Procurement

As part of our broader sustainability efforts, we’ve expanded our focus to further enhance our environmental procurement practices.

All new suppliers are asked to share their environmental policies during the onboarding process and this is now further audited. This allows us to make more informed decisions and ensures the partners we work with align with our values and commitment to sustainability helping us build a more transparent, ethical, and environmentally conscious supply chain.

Our Goals for Impact 2025/26

  1. Carbon Emissions Individual Impact Measurement and reduction target
  2. Environmental Training focused on reduction target for individuals
  3. Further Reduction in Scope 3 Emissions by further 25%
  4. Sustainability and Eco Council in Schools Volunteering Initiative
  5. Annual ED&I Survey to include further Management Data
  6. Recertification against new Standard
  7. Create initiative for Carbon Offsetting
